About Red Cedar
Red cedar wood is one of the toughest, most durable varieties of sawn wood. It has a high insulation value, is lightweight and has a natural protection against wood-decay fungi, moulds and insects and an antibacterial effect. The colour of red cedar varies from light amber to deep honey brown. Red cedar wood has a lovely unique smell — this distinctive, beautiful fragrance will be released during every sauna session, meaning you can enjoy it for many years to come.
