Description
2m 4–6 Person Wood Fired Hot Tub – Off Grid Garden Spa
There’s a reason wood fired hot tubs have been part of outdoor life for centuries. The crackle of burning logs. Rising steam on a cool evening. Warm water under an open sky. It’s an experience that electric tubs simply can’t replicate — and one you can have in your own garden, with no power supply, no running costs, and no complicated installation.
This 2m hot tub is built for people who want that experience done properly. Thermowood cladding, a 316 stainless steel heater as standard, and a closed-cell foam insulated body — the kind of specification usually found at a considerably higher price point.
What makes this tub different
Most wood fired tubs at this price use 304-grade steel in the heater. This tub comes with 316 stainless steel as standard — the same grade used in marine and food-grade applications. It’s significantly more resistant to corrosion from water chemicals, which means a longer service life and fewer maintenance headaches over the years.
The acrylic inner shell is smooth, non-porous and easy to clean. Unlike traditional wooden barrel tubs, it won’t swell, warp or require ongoing treatment on the interior surface. The thermowood exterior cladding is heat-treated rather than chemically treated, making it naturally resistant to rot, moisture and UV fading — and it looks excellent in a garden setting without any further finishing required.
Closed-cell polyurethane foam insulation runs through the body of the tub, reducing heat loss once the water is up to temperature. The included thermo cover adds to this, so your evening soak stays warm for longer without feeding the fire.
Ready in 1.5 to 3 hours
Fill the tub, light the fire and you’re ready to soak in under three hours in most conditions — typically 1.5 hours in summer, up to 3 hours in colder weather. Once heated, the insulated body and thermo cover retain warmth effectively. No boiler, no heat pump, no electricity bill.
Why buy from Carr Bank Garden Centre
We’ve been selling and advising on hot tubs since 2012. Over that time we’ve worked with residential buyers, glamping operators and holiday let owners across the UK — and we’ve built wooden hot tubs ourselves from traditional Western Red Cedar, so we understand the differences in quality that aren’t always obvious from a product listing.
We’re a family-run garden centre and we take the time to make sure customers choose the right product for their garden and how they plan to use it. If you want an honest conversation about whether this is the right tub for your situation, call us on 01524 762313, use the enquiry form on this page, or come in for a chat.
