We also have Rock Salt and a new product to our range enviro-thaw, it works at far lower temperatures than we usually see in the UK and biodegrades when its job is done.

Its pale blue granules work quicker than salt and are long-lasting, keeping for up to two years in a sealed container. They are also promoted as avoiding harm to pets’ paws and to plant life.

Enviro Thaw is an innovative granular de-icer product, which is faster acting and less corrosive than salt. For use on roads, drives, steps, ramps and loading bays. Enviro Thaw has been specially designed to thaw out snow and ice by generating heat.
